The motives of the Maple Leafs are in color and were adapted to the season to which the coin is assigned. Thus, the coin shows a light green maple leaf for "Spring", a dark green maple leaf for "Summer", a red maple leaf for "Autumn" and a brown maple leaf for "Winter". The reverse sides of the four "glass" themed coins included in the set show various areas where glass is used today. A vase, a glass building, a cognac glass, and eyeglasses all point to the versatility of "glass" as a material.Each of the images is surrounded by glitter particles that vary in color from coin to coin.
