TWO MAPLE LEAVES DESIGN The reverse recreates the historic Canadian 5-cent design featuring two maple leaves facing outward beneath the denomination. The central 5 and the two maple leaves are beautifully highlighted with selective gold plating, contrasting with the highly reflective silver Proof background.
The inscriptions include: CANADA FIVE / CINQ 5 CENTS 2015 At 40mm in diameter, this collector version is substantially larger than the original circulation coin, allowing the historic design to be displayed in much greater detail. HISTORIC KING GEORGE V DESIGN The opposite side recreates the King George V portrait appropriate to the era of the original Two Maple Leaves 5-cent design.
